THE TAM WATERFALL PLOT – ALL INFORMATION IN ONE DIAGRAM.
The TAMDATA system converts vehicle vibrations along the sensing fiber into a so-called waterfall plot. This diagram maps vehicle movements across distance and time, creating a clear spatial-temporal view of traffic activity. TEMPORARY MONITORING FOR HIGHWAY WORK ZONES.
TAMDATA can be rapidly deployed by attaching the fiber optic cable to work zone barriers or surface-mounted along the road. All hardware is installed in the TAMDATA Field Operations Vehicle. The system continuously detects vehicle movements and informs about traffic jams and incidents. This enables fast detection of dangerous situations and improves traffic safety during construction.
PERMANENT MONITORING ON MULTI-LANE HIGHWAYS.
TAMDATA delivers the fundamental traffic data needed to understand and react to traffic flow, speed, and incidents. It can be combined with cameras or other point sensors to provide additional information and visual verification.
